Description:
A good, rare figure showing a caped, wounded soldier supported by a sailor in the usual attire. Standing on a raised base with gilt script title. A popular subject in the midst of the Crimean war when the wounded started to return home.
Circa 1855
Approx - 12.5 inches (320mm) tall.
In fair condition with some overpainting to the rear and hairline cracks to base.
